Setting Up Applications For Testing
October 19th, 2009
Overview
This site is intended for testing two or more applications at a time in an organized manner, saving the test results and then publishing them for other to see.
Visual Software provides services during this testing which vary depending on what is needed by the companies (or individuals) participating in the tests:
- Setting up the tests
- Saving the test results
- Monitoring the test (if necessary)
- Providing technical assistance to testers who get stuck (Why isn’t my agent doing what I think it should be doing?) (if necessary)
- Providing mediation (arbitration) services (if necessary)
- Publishing the test results
The Testing Process
The testing process involves the following:
- Locating a matching application for the application that you would like to test.
- Arrange time suitable for testing
- Arrange for accounts to be set up and zone to be created for testing
- Have test plan entered for subscribing application
- Record test start time; execute test plan; if errors, resolve, repeat
- If errors require help, contact Visual Software consultant to watch test and provide assistance
- When test is complete, associate lines in ZIS audit with completed test
- When all tests are complete, publish results for tests on web sites for both SIF agents
